Law360, New York (January 18, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Mesaba Aviation Inc. has missed the deadline for filing its reorganization plan but the holdup will not jeopardize the carrier’s planned sale to Northwest Airlines Corp., according to company sources.
Mesaba was supposed to submit its Chapter 11 proposal to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota on Wednesday, a goal the company was unable to meet.
The delay will be brief, though, with the carrier expected to present its plan to the court on Friday, according to Mesaba spokesperson Elizabeth Costello.
