Law360, New York (February 03, 2012, 3:55 PM ET) -- National Oilwell Varco has agreed to buy for 3.8 billion kroner ($672 million) a Danish company that makes flexible pipe systems for offshore oil and gas facilities, the same company that recently inked a $1.7 billion deal to supply Brazil’s largest oil company, the companies said Friday.
The cash deal will give Houston-based NOV control over NKT Flexibles A/S’ production facility in Denmark and the manufacturer’s new Brazilian plant, expected to open next year, the companies said.
