NHHI Unit Exec Cops Plea Over Altered Docs In Merger Probe

Law360, New York (May 03, 2012, 3:12 PM ET) -- An executive accused of tampering with documents submitted in a federal antitrust review of Nautilus Hyosung Holdings Inc.'s proposed acquisition of a rival automated teller machine maker will plead guilty to obstruction of justice, the U.S. Department of Justice said Thursday.

Kyoungwon Pyo, senior vice president for corporate strategy at Nautilus Hyosung Holdings affiliate Hyosung Corp., changed and had subordinates alter numerous corporate documents before they were submitted to the DOJ and the Federal Trade Commission in conjunction with mandatory premerger filings, prosecutors alleged.
