Judge Stops Bear Stearns Exec from Defecting

Law360, New York (March 28, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has blocked a Boston-based Bear Stearns Cos. executive from working for rival firm Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc., at least for now.

Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts issued a temporary restraining order on Thursday, keeping Douglas A. Sharon from moving on to a post at Morgan Stanley in the wake of the Bear Stearns collapse.
