Deals Rumor Mill: Fresenius, Springleaf, Bain Capital

While the price tag of their offer was not disclosed, reports have speculated that the unit could be worth nearly $6 billion. Fresenius and Permira, along with some others, have been considering going after Danone's unit for months, and according to Thursday's report, the duo's offer is currently the only formal bid....
