$1.4M Deal Approved In Visteon Graphite Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (October 02, 2009, 7:09 PM ET) -- A bankruptcy judge has signed off on a $1.4 million settlement in an antitrust suit brought by bankrupt auto parts supplier Visteon Corp. against French carbon and graphite company Le Carbone Lorraine SP, which has pled guilty to price-fixing allegations from U.S., European and Canadian officials.

Judge Christopher S. Sontchi of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware issued an order Thursday approving the settlement, which was reached after Visteon opted out of a proposed class action settlement to bring an individual action....
