Law360, New York (January 25, 2010, 12:31 PM ET) -- Intel Corp. has called a truce with the plaintiffs in a consolidated putative class action alleging the computer chip maker exaggerates the battery life measurements of laptops that run on its microprocessors, taking the case into mediation.
Judge James Ware in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Friday signed off on the parties' stipulation to enter private mediation.
The two sides have 90 days from the date of Judge Ware's order to complete the process, plaintiffs' attorney Austin Tighe said Monday....
