Bayer Loses JMOL Bid In 2nd Rice Handling Trial

Law360, New York (January 27, 2010, 2:46 PM ET) -- A federal judge has denied Bayer AG's motion for judgment as a matter of law in the recently commenced second bellwether trial in multidistrict litigation over losses stemming from its handling of a strain of genetically modified rice, just as she did in December in the first trial of the MDL.
