Senators Tee Up Food Safety Bill For June

Law360, New York (June 08, 2010, 3:58 PM ET) -- Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pension Committee chairman Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, said Tuesday that he would work to bring comprehensive legislation overhauling the food safety system to the Senate floor in June, in light of a new report highlighting woeful gaps in U.S. food supply regulation.
