Bayer Accuses Teva Of Falsely Advertising Yaz Generic

Law360, New York (June 15, 2010, 5:01 PM ET) -- Bayer Schering Pharma AG has continued its onslaught of litigation over Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc.'s generic version of the birth control pill Yaz, filing a new lawsuit accusing Teva of false advertising and infringing yet another of its patents.

Bayer and its Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals Inc. unit lodged the suit against Teva and its Barr Pharmaceuticals LLC subsidiary Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
