Law360, New York (February 22, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Exelon Corp. has filed a lawsuit in an attempt to quash a union’s attempts to arbitrate a dispute over changes in retiree medical benefits, saying the union no longer represents workers once they have retired.
Exelon and three subsidiaries in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Illinois, respectively, are seeking declaratory judgment against a union that represents 7,500 workers at the company.
