Law360, New York (September 16, 2010, 3:48 PM ET) -- A federal jury has awarded about $7.3 million to 46 former shareholders of now-defunct Adtech Inc. who alleged they were defrauded by Headwaters Inc. through a scheme to transfer a patent for coal agglomeration technology.
The verdict, issued Wednesday by a jury in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, came 15 months after a different jury awarded about $8.7 million to the eight named plaintiffs.
