Prosecutors Refuse To Give FDA Docs To Stryker

Law360, New York (October 19, 2010, 2:16 PM ET) -- Prosecutors have refused to release U.S. Food and Drug Administration documents that Stryker Biotech LLC and several employees contend would likely clear them of criminal charges that they fraudulently marketed unapproved bone growth products.

In a letter sent to defense attorneys Monday, Carmen M. Ortiz, U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts, said that documents detailing how the FDA handles other companies' bone growth products would not be released.
