Law360, New York (November 10, 2010, 3:13 PM ET) -- Prosecutors have ripped Stryker Biotech LLC and several of its current and former executives for trying to dismiss criminal allegations that they falsely marketed devices used in invasive bone surgeries.
The government filed five briefs in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts on Tuesday, disputing the defendants' claims that their actions should amount to little more than misdemeanors for off-label promotion, not felonies for wire fraud and conspiracy to defraud the United States.
