Law360, New York (April 01, 2011, 12:18 PM ET) -- A federal judge in Wisconsin on Thursday denied a preliminary injunction bid from live-animal medical imaging company Carestream Health Inc. in its patent infringement battle against industry leader Caliper Life Sciences Inc.
Judge William M. Conley of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin also denied the early cross-motions for summary judgment made by the two developers of imaging equipment used in live animal biomedical research, while reserving the parties' right to file for summary judgement at a later point.
