Law360, New York (December 15, 2011, 5:58 PM ET) -- The Seventh Circuit on Thursday revived a suit filed by a former S.C. Johnson & Son Inc. tax preparer claiming he was fired as retaliation for exposing tax fraud within the company.
A three-judge panel reversed the decision and remanded the case back to the Eastern District of Wisconsin, which had ruled that the alleged fraud and retaliatory actions against ex-S.C. Johnson employee Michael DeGuelle were not sufficiently related to support his claims under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
