Law360, New York (December 21, 2011, 7:29 PM ET) -- Nebraska officials were hit Monday with a suit brought by hundreds of state patrol troopers challenging state legislation that has upped the percentage employees must contribute to their pension plans, claiming the increases violated their employment contracts.
More than 400 current and retired state troopers filed a suit in Nebraska federal court against Gov. Dave Heineman, state Department of Administrative Services Director Carlos Castillo, state Treasurer Don Stenberg and former state Treasurer Shane Osborn.
