Mich. Utility Seeks Wind Projects To Meet Energy Goal

Law360, New York (May 03, 2012, 4:01 PM ET) -- Michigan utility DTE Energy Co. is on the hunt for more wind power to meet state-mandated guidelines, putting out a request for project proposals Thursday just two weeks after announcing it would build its fourth wind park in the state.

DTE, which operates through its electric subsidiary Detroit Edison, wants 100 megawatts of additional wind power by the end of 2013 to help meet the state's renewable energy targets. It is offering a 20-year power purchase agreement, according to the RFP.
