Law360, New York (May 07, 2012, 7:25 PM ET) -- A private equity partner formerly with Kirkland & Ellis LLP who advises private equity firms and portfolio companies in their acquisition and financing transactions has joined Ropes & Gray LLP as a partner in the firm's Chicago office, Ropes & Gray said Monday.
The firm announced that Matt Richards joined the firm's private equity practice in Chicago. He previously was a private equity partner in Chicago for Kirkland & Ellis.
