3 Trevor Cook Associates Convicted In $194M Ponzi Scheme

Law360, Los Angeles (June 12, 2012, 7:52 PM ET) -- A Minnesota federal jury on Tuesday found three men guilty of helping Crown Forex SA principal Trevor Cook bilk $194 million from investors in a foreign currency exchange Ponzi scheme.

Jason Bo-Alan Beckman, 43, Gerald Joseph Durand, 62, and Patrick Kiley, 74, were convicted on multiple mail and wire fraud, conspiracy and money laundering charges following a monthlong trial. All three men are being detained pending sentencing, the U.S. attorney’s office said in a statement.
