Verizon Call Center Workers Get Class Cert. In FLSA Suit

Law360, New York (July 3, 2012, 7:29 PM ET) -- A federal judge on Monday conditionally certified a class of Minnesota call center employees in a suit against Verizon Wireless claiming the telecommunications giant forced them to work without pay before and after their shifts, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
