Rawlings Says Rival Wilson's Gold Glove Was A Foul

Law360, New York (July 5, 2012, 5:41 PM ET) -- Rawlings Sporting Goods Co. Inc. slammed rival Wilson Sporting Goods Co. with an infringement lawsuit on Thursday for marketing a special gold-colored baseball glove, saying the product was a confusing knockoff of Rawlings' iconic Gold Glove award.
The Rawlings Gold Glove is an annual prize given to the best fielder at each position in the American and National Leagues. The company, which created the award in 1957, sells a line of consumer gloves under the trademarked name, and gives a special glove with a gold marker...
