Peregrine CEO's Suicide Note Tipped Off FBI To Missing Money

Law360, New York (July 11, 2012, 6:43 PM ET) -- The FBI did not begin investigating an alleged $200 million shortfall in customer funds at now-bankrupt Peregrine Financial Group Inc. until after the futures broker's CEO attempted suicide Monday and left a note revealing the fraud, an FBI representative told Law360 on Wednesday.
