Law360, New York (October 03, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Responding to Qualcomm Inc.'s amended complaint, Nokia Corp. on Tuesday amended its own counterclaims in an ongoing patent tit-for-tat between the two cellular giants over cell phone technology.
The amended counterclaims still accuse Qualcomm of infringing six of Nokia's patents with its MediaFlo System and BREW units. The patents in the dispute cover technology such as methods of supporting data technology, systems for performing electric payment transactions and methods for downloading certain applications onto mobile phones.
