Chicago Planning Commission OKs $100M 46-Story Tower

Law360, New York (August 17, 2012, 5:09 PM ET) -- A proposed 46-story apartment and retail tower that would be adjacent to the Crowne Plaza Metro Chicago Hotel and will reportedly cost $100 million to develop got an important first nod from the city's planning commission on Thursday.

In a unanimous vote, the commission greenlighted the project to head to the city council for consideration, Fernando Espinoza, a staffer for the city's planned development department, told Law360.
