At SanDisk's Cue, ITC To Investigate Flash Devices

Law360, New York (December 06, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission announced Thursday that it will take up a complaint that accuses 25 companies of importing products that infringe SanDisk Corp.'s flash-memory patents.

The ITC said it will investigate certain flash memory controllers, drives, memory cards, media players and other products containing allegedly infringing semiconductor chips that manage the flash memories.

SanDisk filed the complaint on Oct. 24, the same day that it sued the 25 companies.
