Class Certified In Deere ERISA Suit

Law360, New York (January 06, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has certified a class of approximately 5,000 former employees of Deere & Co. in a suit accusing the farm and construction equipment manufacturer of violating the Employee Retirement Income Security Act and the terms of health benefit plans by cutting back or eliminating benefits.
