State AGs Join Call For AIG Bonus Details

Law360, New York (March 20, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Attorneys general from 20 states have demanded exhaustive details about American International Group Inc.'s bonus payout process for its troubled financial products division, as many consider taking legal action against AIG under state securities fraud statutes.

New Jersey Attorney General Anne Milgram sent a letter signed by attorneys general from 18 other states to AIG CEO Edward Liddy on Thursday calling for the company to turn over key documents and records that would give the states further information.
