Sierra Club's Suit Over Coal Plant Emissions Tossed

Law360, New York (April 07, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has thrown out a lawsuit by the Sierra Club accusing the owners of a South Dakota coal-fired power plant of failing to obtain necessary permits and violating emissions limitations, ruling that the environmental group's claims weren't brought within the statute of limitations.
