J&J Vaginal Mesh Warnings Debated In Closing Args

Law360, New York (February 15, 2013, 9:23 PM ET) -- Attorneys on Friday presented a New Jersey jury with their closing arguments in the case of a South Dakota woman who says a vaginal mesh product manufactured by Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon Inc. destroyed her quality of life.

Jurors heard the arguments following five weeks of testimony in the bellwether trial over Ethicon’s Prolift polypropylene mesh product, and whether the company did enough to warn patients, like plaintiff Linda Gross, of Prolift’s risks.
