Bid-Rigging Convictions Overturned For Ex-Marsh Execs

Law360, New York (July 06, 2010, 4:49 PM ET) -- A New York State Supreme Court judge has overturned the bid-rigging convictions of two former Marsh Inc. executives who were charged with deliberately restraining competition in the sale of excess casualty insurance.

Judge James Yates issued an opinion Friday that let the executives — William Gilman, a former executive marketing director and managing director at Marsh, and Edward McNenney, the brokerage’s former global placement excess casualty director and managing director — off the hook barring a successful appeal from the New York attorney general's office....
