Samsung To Pay InterDigital $134M In Royalties

Law360, New York (December 05, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has ordered Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. to pay InterDigital Communication Corp. $134 million in royalties, plus interest, confirming an arbitration award issued by a panel of the International Chamber of Commerce in 2006.

On Monday, Judge Richard J. Sullivan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York affirmed the arbitration award initially ordered by the three-person Arbitration Tribunal of the International Court of Arbitration, which is part of the ICC.
