Real Estate Rumor Mill: Blackstone, Goldman, Raymour

By Andrew McIntyre (May 21, 2015, 8:09 PM EDT) -- The Blackstone Group LP is seeking roughly $525 million for the top 12 floors of a Manhattan office tower, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing a source with knowledge of the deal. Blackstone is selling the top dozen floors of 229 W. 43rd St., the portion of the 16-floor building it bought in 2011 for $160 million, Bloomberg said. The New York Times had been at the property between 1913 and 2007 and Yahoo Inc. signed a lease for four floors at the space two years ago, Bloomberg said. Yahoo subsequently leased an additional floor, according to Bloomberg....
