Law360, New York (September 26, 2012, 9:06 PM ET) -- A Washington federal judge on Wednesday ordered consulting firm Weinberg Group to turn over to Chevron Corp. hundreds of documents it has asserted are privileged in a dispute related to an $18 billion Ecuadorean oil spill judgment.
U.S. Magistrate Judge John Facciola ordered Weinberg to submit 100 documents a day to Chevron, redacting only opinion work and providing an explanation as to each redaction, and furthermore release a number of other documents to which he said privilege clearly does not apply.
