Meningitis Outbreak Spurs Push For Compounder Crackdown

Law360, New York (October 11, 2012, 8:22 PM ET) -- As the number of meningitis outbreak fatalities rose to 14 on Thursday, one federal lawmaker sought a criminal probe into the compounding pharmacy behind the outbreak, while a U.S. Food and Drug Administration official called for an overhaul of the regulation of compounded drugs.
