Law360, New York (February 07, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Three companies, two in China and one in the U.S., were indicted along with their top executives Wednesday for their alleged roles in distributing tainted pet food that led to the deaths of thousands of animals last year.
The U.S. attorney's office in Kansas City announced that a federal grand jury had handed down indictments, which were the result of an investigation by the Food and Drug Administration into 800 metric tons of tainted wheat gluten that was imported to the U.S.
