Law360, New York (February 11, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A class action has accused Samsung Electronics America Inc. of knowingly selling defective Blu-ray disc players that could not play numerous Blu-ray movies.
In a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, lead plaintiff Robert McGovern alleged that the BD-01200 Samsung Blu-ray player he bought last summer was unable to view many Blu-ray disc titles because of its defective design.
