Law360, New York (September 17, 2012, 5:02 PM ET) -- Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., introduced a bill Thursday that would make it easier for doctors serving low-income patients to get incentive payments from Medicaid for switching to electronic health records.
Health care professionals such as doctors, nurses and nurse practitioners can only qualify for the Medicaid e-records program if at least 30 percent of their patients are covered by Medicaid.
