Bankrupt Developer Has Slim Odds In $11M Feud, Judge Says

Law360, Miami (May 6, 2013, 10:20 PM ET) -- A Florida bankruptcy judge on Monday declined to grant SLS Properties Three LLC summary judgment against a bankrupt Miami real estate developer over a $15 million Las Vegas land deal, but said the developer would have a “steep hill to climb" to win the case.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Laurel M. Isicoff said she would not grant SLS the partial summary judgment it requested regarding dischargeability of the $11 million owed by bankrupt developer Pasquale Renzi, who SLS claims purposefully hid assets from the bankruptcy court....
