Good Faith Claim Dropped From Fidelity, Ford Suit

Law360, New York (May 22, 2009) -- A federal judge has dismissed one claim from a suit by Fidelity & Guaranty Insurance Co. against Ford Motor Co. alleging Ford had the duty to defend and indemnify one of its dealerships in a product liability suit, ruling that the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing is not applicable to the case.
