Walgreen To Pay $1.4M To End Cold Remedy Ad Suit

Law360, New York (June 03, 2009) -- A federal judge has signed an order preliminarily approving a $1.4 million settlement between Walgreen Co. and purchasers of its Wal-Born products, who had claimed the company falsely advertised the ability of its product to prevent the common cold and offer protection from germs and viruses.
