DuPont, Rohm & Haas Get OK For $1.3M Ky. Deals

Law360, New York (July 06, 2009) -- A federal judge has given preliminary approval for $1.3 million in settlements between DuPont Co. and Rohm and Haas Co. and a class of more than 6,000 Louisville, Ky., households that claimed that emissions from a shuttered chemical plant in the city caused unpleasant odors, nausea, headaches and respiratory problems, and reduced property values.
