Massey Drops Challenge To W.Va. High Court Recusals

Law360, New York (July 24, 2009) -- Coal producer Massey Energy Co. said Friday that it would drop a suit seeking review of the West Virginia Supreme Court's judicial recusal policies, saying the suit's “driving forces” — including former high court Justice Larry Starcher — are no longer an issue.
