USPTO Preliminary Finding Rejects TiVo DVR Patent

Law360, New York (August 04, 2009) -- Dish Network Corp. has scored a victory in its ongoing feud with TiVo Inc. over digital video recorder technology, with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issuing a preliminary finding that a patent previously upheld by a federal court is invalid.
