Schering, Orchid Settle Clarinex Patent Suit

Law360, New York (August 12, 2009) -- Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and its subsidiary Orgenus Pharma Inc. have reached an agreement with Schering-Plough Corp. that will allow Orchid to bring two generic versions of Schering's allergy drug Clarinex to the U.S. market in 2012.

The deal, announced Tuesday, ends all pending lawsuits filed by Schering since 2006 in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey against 16 different generic drug manufacturing...
