Medtronic Units Appeal Globus Patent Judgment

Law360, New York (August 18, 2009) -- Four Medtronic Inc. subsidiaries have appealed a $2.1 million judgment against Globus Medical Inc. in an infringement suit over patents related to spinal surgery, after a judge ruled that only one unit, Warsaw Orthopedic Inc., had standing to bring the suit.
