Smurfit-Stone Shareholder Asks To Form Equity Panel

Law360, New York (August 21, 2009) -- Contending that bankrupt Smurfit-Stone Container Corp.’s finances are improving and its stock may not be worthless, investment manager Caspian Capital Advisors LLC has asked the bankruptcy court to appoint an official equity security holders committee in the case to represent shareholder interests in reorganization plan negotiations.
