TAM Plane Crash Suits Must Be Tried In Brazil: Judge

Law360, New York (August 28, 2009) -- In a substantial victory for Airbus SAS, Goodrich Corp. and others blamed for a 2007 TAM Airlines crash at Sao Paulo’s Congonhas airport that killed 199 people, a judge has ruled that Brazil — not the U.S. — is the correct venue for claims related to the disaster.
