9th Circ. Seeks Guidance On Target Employment Suit

Law360, New York (September 03, 2009) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has asked the Oregon Supreme Court to determine whether the state's consent is required in any settlement that would reduce or eliminate Oregon's share of punitive damages in a case that stems from an employment dispute between Target Corp. and one of its employees.
