TJX Cos., Banks Settle Class Action Over Data Breach

Law360, New York (September 02, 2009) -- TJX Cos. Inc. has agreed to pay $525,000 to dismiss a putative class action filed by financial institutions related to the 2005 and 2006 data breach that exposed up to 100 million credit and debit card numbers to hackers, the company said Wednesday.
